CARVING DEPICTION: This pendant is hand carved to resemble an autumn mountain & forest scenery. The jade piece depicts a scenery when the autumn has come and the leaves have turned yellow and red for the season. The carving is so detailed and well done you can see the individual leaves carved on the trees. You can see the houses residing on the mountain. A absolute stunning artwork denoting the autumn mountain scenery! This piece is one a kind!
CARVING PROCESS: The hand carving is performed by a master carver and takes weeks of work. The master carver first designs the artwork by taking account the natural jade features. In this case, the master carver wanted to emphasize the red and yellow jade, which is a premium color in jade.
