CARVING: The pendant is exquisitely hand carved jade (one of a kind!) in the form of the Amitabha Buddha (Also known as Amita or Amida Buddha). Amitabha is the buddha of infinite light and life. In this carving he is protected by a dragon, a very auspicious symbol.
JADE COLOR: This jade piece has beautiful shades of blue green. This piece is semi-translucent as well; this means when held against the light, the light will partially shine through - a premium quality in jade because it gives the jade a "glow" under certain lighting such as natural light.
