The Goddess of Mercy is depicted as sitting on top a lotus meditating next to a phoenix on a tree. The phoenix is a mythical creature that has the ability to reborn and be rebirth through fire. Its meaning in this piece is that the wearer will have the persistence, continuous pursuit, and self improvement in all aspects of his/her life.
