CARVING: The pendant is exquisitely hand carved jade (one of a kind!) in the form of the Amitabha Buddha (Also known as Amita or Amida Buddha). Amitabha is the buddha of infinite light and life.

JADE COLOR: This is a black jade (Omphacite) carving. It has beautiful dark black tones. The dark tones also have reflective qualities. You can see how it reflect a lot of light in the pictures and videos. For Black Jade (Omphacite), the more oil like it is, the more valuable it is. In this piece, the oil texture is great with lots of reflective properties. This piece has semi translucent properties at one area on the top of the pendant. When a light is shine from the bottom of the pendant, it will show as a dark green. This is the special property of black jade Omphacite.
