CARVING: The pendant is carved in the form of the Chinese Zodiac - Dragon. This jade piece has beautiful green hues. It is absolutely stunning hand carving, you can see the details of the dragon hair, claws, and scales. It depicts a dragon with its claws. The piece is dual sided carved. On the back you can see aa dragon tail. Double-sided carving is a very premium carving style, especially at the the level of detail this piece has!

CARVING PROCESS: The hand carving is performed by a master carver and takes weeks of work. The master carver first designs the artwork by taking account the natural jade features. In this case, the master carver wanted to emphasize the strong green hues in the stone. If you look at the piece, the carving is so detailed you can even see the individual dragon hair and claws. This piece is custom artwork that is designed based on the stone. This means there is only one piece like this in the world!

JADE COLOR: Dark green with splashes of strong apple green. It is semi-translucent stone and allows light to shine through when held against the light or sun. This allows for a "glowing effect" when light reflects on the stone, which is beautiful under natural sunlight. This is a premium quality in jadeite jade.
