This particular piece is translucent clear jadeite jade. It is also known as "Ice Type" jade meaning it is clear like ice. Translucent jade is a very rare type of variation in jadeite jade and is considered a premium stone. If you look at the pictures, against the light, the piece is see through. This is the rare property of translucent jadeite jade.
