CARVING: The pendant is hand carved jade in the form of a bamboo. The bamboo symbol means good luck and prosperity in jade. It also represents resilience and longevity because bamboo is a very resilient and long life plant. It has dual sided carving. On the back it is hand carved with the bamboo texture. This piece is one of a kind. There is no second one in the world! The master carver spent one full day hand carving the piece from a raw jadeite stone.
JADE COLOR: This piece has great color green hues with purple lavender tones. It is slightly semi-translucent stone and allows light to shine through when held against the light or sun. This allows for a "glowing effect" when light reflects on the stone, which is beautiful under natural sunlight. This is a premium quality in jadeite jade.
