CARVING: It is carved jade in the form of Money Toad (Golden Toad, Jin Chan, Money Frog, ), a Chinese mythological creature is said to appear during the full moon, near houses or businesses that will soon receive good news, usually about increase in wealth. It is considered an auspicious symbol for wealth attraction for anyone who possesses it.
JADE COLOR: This particular piece has beautiful green tones. It is translucent stone (a very premium quality in jade) and allows light to shine through when held against the light or sun. This allows for a "glowing effect" when light reflects on the stone, which is beautiful under natural sunlight. This is a premium quality in jadeite jade.
