NATURAL JADE: This is a high grade jade pendant necklace. The pendant is completely natural stone jadeite jade. It is completely natural, un-dyed, and in its natural form.

CARVING: The pendant is carved jade in the form of the Guan Yin, the Buddhist "Goddess of Mercy." Guan Yin is the Chinese translation of Avalokiteśvara, the Buddha of compassion. She also symbolizes harmony and compassion. When wearing the Guan Yin symbol, it is said to protect its wearer and endow them with wisdom, harmony, and compassion.

In this piece, Guan Yin is depicted with a thousand hands in this jade pendant. The thousand arms depict Guan Yin reaching out and helping those in need, as she is the goddess of mercy helping those that need it. There is a dragon depicted on the bottom right for protection as well.
