When wearing the Guan Yin symbol, it is said to protect its wearer and endow them with wisdom, harmony, and compassion. In this piece, the Goddess of Mercy is depicted as meditating on a lotus symbolizing the peace, harmony, wisdom, and positive thoughts she brings to the world and the wearer of this piece.
The jade hand carving has a brilliant depiction of Guan Yin meditating over a mountain scenery landscape. This depiction symbolizes Guan Yin's gaze upon the world as she protects the world and the living things in the world.
