This is a high grade jadeite jade pendant necklace. It is exquisitely hand carved, so each pendant is different in some way. The pendant is completely natural jade, un-dyed and in its natural form.
The pendant is carved in the form of the Chinese Zodiac - Pig. This particular carving has the pig on top a Gold Ingot, with a bat on the bottom right. The gold ingot traditionally means wealth will flow to the pendants wearer. The bat is considered synonymous with the word fortune in Chinese culture.
The Years of the Pig include 1923, 1935, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007, 2019, 2031, 2043...
