The pendant is carved in the form of the Chinese Zodiac - Rooster. This pendant features a few unpolished edges. This gives the carving a popular rustic, rural, and hand carved feel to the piece. The rough edges emphasize the rooster carving, especially the rooster tail on this particular piece.
