CARVING: The pendant is exquisitely hand carved jade (one of a kind!) in the form of the Vairocana Buddha (Also known as Mahāvairocana, Da Ri Ru Lai, ). Vairocana Buddha is often interpreted as the historical Gautama Buddha. This piece depicts the Buddha meditating in the lotus position.
