This is a high grade jade pendant necklace. The pendant is completely natural stone Jade. It is carved jade in the form of the Guan Yin, the Buddhist "Goddess of Mercy." Guan Yin is the Chinese translation of Avalokiteśvara, the Buddha of compassion. She also symbolizes harmony and compassion. When wearing the Guan Yin symbol, it is said to protect its wearer and endow them with wisdom, harmony, and compassion.
