CARVING: This pendant is hand carved in the form of Guan Yin with a dragon. Guan yin depicted as mediating holding a lotus while commanding the protection of the dragon. Guan Yin is known as the "Goddess of Mercy." She is known to be a benevolent symbol that eases the pain and suffering of the world. She is a symbol of hope and kindness. The dragon protects the wearer of this necklace, along with Guan Yin.
The carving on this piece is exquisite and very detailed. You can see Guan Yin's face very clearly as well as and the dragon that surrounds her. A true one of a kind art work!
JADE COLOR: This piece has beautiful green yellow tones. It is semi-translucent stone and allows light to shine through when held against the light or sun. This allows for a "glowing effect" when light reflects on the stone, which is beautiful under natural sunlight.
