CARVING: The pendant is exquisitely hand carved jade (one of a kind!) in the form of the Vairocana Buddha (Also known as Mahāvairocana, Da Ri Ru Lai,Đại Nhật Như Lai). Vairocana Buddha is often interpreted as the historical Gautama Buddha. This piece depicts the Buddha meditating in the lotus position. Varicocana is the guardian protector for those of the sheep goat zodiac and monkey; One side of the pendant has a carving of a monkey.
